Repeat-By: --------- > x = rand(2,1); octave> g = (x>0); octave> save seeit warning: save: wrong type argument `bool matrix' warning: near line 6, column 1: >>> save ("seeit") If you now quit and look at seeit with a text editor you will see that it contains only one matrix whose elements are the elements of x. However this file is corrupted in that the matrix has to "name" lines, one says g and the other x. If you load this file you will have one matrix named g which has the contents of x. Hence very serious errors can be made by unsuspecting researchers (voice of painful experience). Fix: --- I wish I knew. Perhaps this has been fixed in 2.1.34 already and I'm not aware of it. It didn't look like it had been mentioned in the e-mail lists.
