Subject: Ask for help! compiling the Octave-1.1.1

When I intsalled Octave-1.1.1 on a Sparce-sun-solaris2.4 by using gcc-2.7.0.
the ld told me that it couldn't find the references to 'stdout' and 'stderr'.
I know I should link a library, but I don't know which library I shoul link.
Who can tell me about it?
